Have two Akubras that weren't quite the right fit. One was fractionaly tight whilst the other was round insteda of my head shape which is oval. Steamed each hat as per the instructions with the stretcher and used the stretcher as per instructions, It took a couple of attempts with each hat but the stretcher stretched them so taht they both now fit properly. Easy to use and does the job it is intended to do.
I ordered a hat stretcher and in due course I received it and it is what I expected and it worked great. All plusses!!!
I ordered the item on Ebay which is where I do a lot of my shopping but I received a note from "Australian Gear" saying they could not deliver to a PO Box, which is my only delivery address. When I explained this to them they said they could not send my Ebay order to a PO Box however if I ordered direct on-line with them they could deliver to a PO Box. I had to cancel my Ebay order and reorder it direct on-line so it could go to a PO Box address. I thought that was just all a bit weird but it all worked out OK in the end.
