Since shipping took a couple of weeks, I had some time to fret over whether this children's hat would be too small (adult petite woman). Surprisingly, the hat is a little big. But, better a little big than too small. Since it's for children, the proportions are perfect for me. A foam insert or two should take up some of the space to ensure the hat does not fly off while I'm running around. Very pleased to have an authentic Aussie hat.
